'Outsider' is the new studio album by Tim Dawn and encompasses both the meaning of being an outsider, looking at the world from a distance, and the meaning of being an underdog. This second studio album contains thirteen honest and personal songs about the sometimes painful, but also the beautiful sides of being an outsider, including the NPO Radio 2 TopSong: 'Don't Like Him On You'.
The basis for the album was laid during a writing trip in Stockholm. Tim Dawn wrote the songs on 'Outsider' together with Wouter Vingerhoed, Sander de Bie, The Companions, Loren Nine Geerts and Rubert Blackman. Four songs were written by Tim Dawn alone.
The album was produced by Wouter Vingerhoed (except Something) and mixed by Huub Reijnders (Bløf, Krezip, Guus Meeuwis). The mastering was done by the legendary American duo Calbi/Fallone (Taylor Swift, John Mayer, Bob Dylan, The Beatles).
