'Delta Kream' is the tenth album by The Black Keys and with the eleven tracks on the record the band celebrates their great love for the Mississippi Country Blues with songs by Blues legends RL Burnside and Junior Kimbrough. Band members Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney recorded the album in Auerbach's Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville together with Kenny Brown and Eric Deaton - two musicians who played with Blues legends like RL Burnside and Junior Kimbrough for a long time. Both artists have been great sources of inspiration for Auerbach and Carney since their teenage years.

Dan Auerbach: “We made this record to honor the Mississippi hill country blues tradition that influenced us starting out. These songs are still as important to us today as they were the first day Pat and I started playing together and picked up our instruments. It was a very inspiring session with Pat and me along with Kenny Brown and Eric Deaton in a circle, playing these songs. It felt so natural.” Patrick Carney: "The session was planned only days in advance and nothing was rehearsed. We recorded the entire album in about ten hours, over two afternoons, at the end of the 'Let's Rock' tour.”

Childhood friends Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney have formed the band The Black Keys since 2001. After releasing their debut album 'The Big Come Up' in 2002, they built up a loyal fan base in the underground scene for years. Since the release of the album 'Brothers' in 2010, The Black Keys has become a world-class band with six Grammy Awards, hits like 'Loney Boy' and 'Little Black Submarines' and headline shows at festivals such as Lowlands, Glastonbury and Coachella. Their latest album, 'Let's Rock', was released in 2019.
