Ruben Hein focuses on nature conservation with special new project and tour 'OCEANS'. With the project he reconciles his two greatest loves: music and nature.

In early 2020, just before the pandemic breaks out, Ruben finds himself on a boat in the South Pole, surrounded by endless sea levels, penguin colonies, whales and abandoned settlements. During this Artist In Residency, he captures the first ideas for his new project in a mini-studio in his cabin on the ship.

The 'OCEANS' LP will be released in a printed outer sleeve of plantable flower paper, an extra gesture for nature and the listener to brighten up their own garden or balcony with bee-attracting flowers. With this project, Ruben shows that together, with both large and small gestures, we can become aware of the need for nature conservation and can certainly actively contribute to it.
