Recorded in Los Angeles with producer Oliver Leiber, “Wide Awake” is a diverse album that keeps Sullivan’s guitar playing front and center on every track. From the joyful reverie of debut single “All Around The World” to the vulnerable, sweet melody of “Jessica” and the soft pop of “Real Thing,” the album is a musical journey. “Strawberry Rain” stands out with its rocking groove, while Quinn brings his blue-eyed-soul influences to the forefront of “Baby Please” and a funky, Prince-inspired pulse to “She’s So Irresistible.” Quinn’s love of Latin music provides the backbone of “In A World Without You.” Strikingly fresh, “Wide Awake” represents the next step for an ambitious musician with his eyes firmly on the future. Quinn Sullivan is a rare artist who has always sounded older than his years. He has been performing concerts worldwide since he was 11 years old, at legendary venues such as Madison Square Garden, the Hollywood Bowl, Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival and three Montreux Jazz Festivals. Quinn has shared the stage with his hero and mentor Buddy Guy, as well as Carlos Santana on several occasions. He has also made appearances on major television programs such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Conan and The Oprah Winfrey Show, to name a few.
