'Relentless' is the result of a long-awaited collaboration between Pretenders and acclaimed composer Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead, The Smile). He is responsible for the string arrangement and accompanied the 12-piece ensemble for the beautiful closing number 'I Think About You Daily'.
The album was recorded at Battery Studios in West London and produced by Welshman David Wrench (Sampha, FKA Twigs, Jungle). The band was expanded with what Chrissie Hynde describes as 'The Pretenders Collective': James Walbourne (guitar), Kris Sonne (drums), Chris Hill (double bass), Dave Page (bass) and Carwyn Ellis (keyboard and guitar
