Paul Simon, who has consistently created some of the most influential and enduring works in music history, has announced the release of his highly anticipated musical work Seven Psalms. Intended to be listened to as one continuous piece, the 33-minute, seven-part composition transcends the concept of an “album” and will be released in its entirety on vinyl, CD, and digital platforms.

Recorded entirely on acoustic instruments and performed primarily by Paul, Seven Psalms showcases Simon's craftsmanship at its finest and most engaging, simply with his voice and guitar.

A gorgeous, intricately layered work, it's a record that creates an engaging and meditative, almost hymnic soundscape, with Paul's lyrics providing the focal point for constellations of sound woven from guitar strings and other acoustic instruments – including choral elements from the highly regarded British vocal ensemble VOCES8, and a stunning vocal appearance from Edie Brickell.

The tone of the record is complemented by the artwork, which features a close-up of "Two Owls" by renowned landscape artist Thomas Moran.
