For years, Joost has been asked by fans for a career overview with his greatest hits from his rich oeuvre. The answer to that question was always as short as clear: no.
Looking back is not an option in the world of Joost Zweegers. “Be great or be gone” is the slogan that has hung above his piano for many years.

It was Mikey Rowe & Andrew Britton who convinced him to do it. 'Mike & Andy' gave Joost the perspective to simply re-record his greatest songs. In the way they should sound in 2024. Fresh, young and timeless - like every Novastar song is written. It became a rollercoaster. Both musically and emotionally.

A top team of musicians was put together with pianist Mikey Rowe (Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds), guitarist Andy Britton (Top Gear soundtracks), guitarist Skin Tyson (Robert Plant), drummer Keith Prior (David Gray) & bassist Erik Rademakers (Selah Sue).

With this album, Joost fulfilled his childhood dream. He dived into the famous “Studio 2” of the Abbey Road studios, in exactly the same place where his great heroes The Beatles recorded their greatest successes. Novastar in Abbey Road. The circle is complete.
