Uit het hart van het grungetijdperk komt het baanbrekende album "Apple" van de band Mother Love Bone uit Seattle. Twee van de oorspronkelijke leden (Jeff Ament en Stone Gossard) richtten later Pearl Jam op, maar het begon allemaal hier, met de band onder leiding van Andrew Wood. Het album, voor het eerst sinds de release in 1990 verkrijgbaar op 180-grams geremasterd gekleurd vinyl, is een gewilde klassieker geworden! Het bevat de singles "Stardog Champion" en "This Is Shangrila".
