'Master Of Puppets', Metallica's third studio album, was first released on March 3, 1986 and has been certified platinum six times to date. The album has sold over 10 million copies worldwide. Last year, 30 years after its release, 'Master Of Puppets' was the first metal album to be included in the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress. An honorary title, reserved only for works that are considered 'culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant'.
