Het is 2026 en MEROL is terug: vuriger, kwetsbaarder en ruiger dan ooit. Met een nieuwe plaat op zak genaamd Leve de Feeks slaat ze een nieuw muzikaal pad in. Samen met de Vlaamse producer Jeroen De Pessemier (bekend van o.a. The Subs en Oscar and the Wolf) creëerde ze wilde elektropunk met rock en techno invloeden. Geïnspireerd door artiesten als Peaches, Wet Leg, Amyl and the Sniffers en Björk. Op haar nieuwe album blaast ze de term ‘feeks’ nieuw leven in en bevrijdt zichzelf van alle schaamte die ze heeft over haar lichaam, haar seks en haar kinderwens.
