Superstar Luke Hemmings continues to indulge his deep musical passions by bringing fans together and pursuing his own musical tastes with his highly anticipated solo EP: boy.
It marks the first new solo music from the 5 Seconds of Summer frontman since the release of his debut project, When Facing the Things We Turn Away From (2021). Inspired by musical acts like LCD Soundsystem and the Cocteau Twins, Hemmings was searching for something specific when he began writing his new EP, Boy. In a session with songwriting partner Sammy Witte, they dubbed it “the pain.” “It’s hard to put into words,” Luke explains. “I just know there’s this feeling that I get: There’s this pain. That seems to be the feeling that I’m coming back to.”
