Lizzo started rapping as a teenager and studied classical music with a focus on flute. After that, she was part of various groups until she finally decided to continue solo. Her EP Coconut Oil from 2016 opened doors for Lizzo. She went on tour with Florence and the Machine and Haim. She had her real breakthrough with the album CUZ I LOVE YOU in 2019 with hits like 'Juice', 'Good As Hell' and 'Truth Hurts'. She also performed in AFAS Live and at Best Kept Secret that year. Lizzo is now a world-class artist with three Grammys to her name. The American artist stands for diversity and wants to spread her message about body positivity with her music. She also speaks out for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community.
