Nobody sounds like rock 'n' roll legend Leslie West. From the Woodstock festival in 1969, where his group Mountain went down in music history, to his album The Unusual Suspects, West has one of the biggest, fattest electric guitar tones known to man. The Unusual Suspects, a proud blend of boogie blues, rock and ballads, puts his songwriting skills to the fore, as can be heard on the hard-rocking "Mississippi Queen," "Mud Flap Momma" and his soulful love song "My Gravity." West's title for the album was inspired by the list of A-list musicians who contributed to the album, including ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, Slash, Zakk Wylde, blues-rock firebrand Joe Bonamassa, LA session giant and Toto leader Steve Lukather and finally drummer Kenny Aronoff, whose powerhouse style has collaborated with John Fogerty, John Mellencamp, Willie Nelson, Rod Stewart and many others.
