Leif de Leeuw Band is the southern jam band of Europe. Leif has been voted best blues-rock guitarist of the Benelux eight times in a row and Sem Jansen is the winner of the TV program 'Hit the Road'. With six men strong, the men of the band deliver a show with blazing guitar solos, two dueling drummers and tearing Hammond sounds in which improvisation in strong narrative songs are central. The band traveled with a large collection of vintage instruments to Delft (Marmelade Studio of Sven Figee) to record the new songs. 9 cool songs in which room is made for improvisation in each song. The sound is a nice mix of rock, blues, Americana, country and southern rock with sincere lyrics and a nice seventies touch. 9 beautiful songs of which 1 cover of Neil Young - Southern Man, with Berget Lewis.
