Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the first album to ever use sampling, JMJ releases his album Zoolook, remastered and featuring a bonus track “Moon Machine”. Zoolook breaks new ground with its use of the Fairlight CMI, one of the earliest digital sampling synthesizers, allowing Jarre to manipulate vocal sounds from 25 different languages. “Moon Machine” is a dark, experimental electronic piece that uses synthesizers to create abstract sounds.
