'Rode Draad' is the debut album of the Drenthe singer-songwriter Hannah Mae. The album contains her hits 'Waterdicht', 'Wat Wil Je Van Mij' (with Metejoor) and 'Ik Wil Dat Je Liegt' (with Maksim). Hannah about the title track of the album: 'Rode Draad is about a feeling of doubt and uncertainty; do I still support the choices I make or do I live on autopilot? I think that everyone sometimes has to deal with choice stress and expectations from others, no matter how old you are. I myself have discovered that it takes time to find your path in life. For me, music has always been the common thread in my life, but it took me quite a while to allow that dream of going all out for music. Now that I have dared to make that choice myself, I want everyone to sometimes take the time to find what you are looking for again.' In recent years, Hannah has scored several gold and platinum records with her songs. She was also found several times in the upper regions of the charts and was frequently heard on Dutch (and Belgian) radio. Despite the great success, Hannah remains her always down-to-earth self and enjoys it most when she gets to be on stage with her band.
