Originally released in the UK on 13th May 1996, 'Older', George Michael's iconic album, reached the peak of chart success, where it stayed for three consecutive weeks, for 35 weeks in the top 10 in total. The album spawned six singles, two of which - 'Fastlove' and the haunting 'Jesus To A Child' - reached number one, while the other four finished in the top three. The album was a huge worldwide commercial success, going 6x platinum in the UK, and verified platinum in a further 22 countries - a feat that remains unmatched to this day.
