Emerging jazz composer/producer/multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Emma-Jean Thackray has launched her sub-label Movementt on Warp Records and will be releasing a series of solo releases this year in the run-up to her debut album.
Emma-Jean’s fans include Gilles Peterson, Downbeat, Jazzwise, Red Bull Music Academy, BBC Jools Holland, BBC Introducing ‘2020’ Hotlist and she has performed at the London Jazz Festival with the London Symphony Orchestra – but her ambitions extend beyond the ‘UK Jazz Scene’.
