Jamaican reggae duo Dave and Ansel Collins released their debut reggae album Double Barrel in 1971. The single "Double Barrel" topped the British and Jamaican charts, and the follow-up "Monkey Spanner" also enjoyed international success. All of the album's songs were written and produced by Jamaican heavyweight Winston Riley, and it was the first record to feature legendary drummer and percussionist Sly Dunbar. Dave and Ansel split shortly after the release of Double Barrel.
This 50th anniversary edition of Double Barrel is available on black vinyl.
