BRUUT!'s music transcends styles by incorporating surf rock, boogaloo, hard rock and other influences into their songs. The result is an energetic, driven band sound and the new album Zest is no different, but a little different. BRUUT! worked on their albums in the same way for 12 years: everything was written 'live' in the rehearsal room. Due to the pandemic, this became impossible and the band was forced to adjust their working method. The pieces were tinkered with remotely, with zoom calls and an arsenal of music software, until they were ready to go into the studio. A new beginning, so to speak. A new label also fits in with that. From now on, Excelsior Recordings will release the music. As well as the album Zest. A record full of grooves that continue to fascinate time and time again.
