In the spring of 2008, the band members of BLØF left for the Irish Pickering House to record their new songs. In October of that same year, the first part was released, entitled Oktober , and contained the tracks “Oktober” and “Vallende Engel”, which became fan favorites. Half a year later, in April 2009, the second part April was released, with “Vandaag” and “Midsummernacht” in the tracklisting.

October - April - Pickering Sessions is a 3LP compilation of these two albums plus a third record, featuring additional material from the Pickering Sessions , including alternative versions of “Midsummer Night” and “From Afar Was It So Beautiful”. These songs appear on vinyl for the first time. October - April - Pickering Sessions is available as a limited edition on green (LP1 October ), light green (LP2 April ), and transparent (LP3 Pickering Sessions ) colored vinyl. The 3LP is packaged in a beautiful trifold sleeve and contains 3 printed inner sleeves with song lyrics.
