BLØF, one of the most famous Dutch rock bands, comes from Zeeland and was founded in 1992. Boven is the third studio album of the band and was originally released in 1999. The album achieved a double Platinum status and reached the # 2 position in the Dutch Album Top 100. It contains among others the hit "Harder Dan Ik Hebben Kan", "Zaterdag" and "Niets Dan Dit". The album is carried by the powerful voice and lyrics of Paskal Jakobsen and the songs are a variation of ballads, rock and even a brass band plays on "Liefde & Drank".
