Op Terry, Me / and / Dad laat Billy de songs horen die hem inspireerden om de muzikant te worden die hij nu is, inclusief songs populair gemaakt door Mac Weisman en Doc Watson. De plaat werd zoals de titel doet vermoeden, opegenomen samen met zijn vader. De productie werd gedaan door Billy en Gary Paczosa en bevat het werk van Bluegrass figuren Ronnie en Rob McCoury, Michael Cleveland en Mike Bub, samen met speciale gast Jerry Douglas.
