This is a pretty kick-ass collection of songs. Kat Bjelland's delivery is probably less wild than usual, but there are catchy moments of noise and outrageous beauty, like "Drivin'," where drummer Lori Barbero goes into repetition and Kat Bjelland's dreamy registers play in the background. "Sweet '69" is equally delightful with shredded guitars and Bjelland clearly revels in the noise and vocally delivers. Songs like "Hello" and "Oh Yeah" are fun, just good, hard rock. This is catchy, sulky, cocky punk rock. This album was produced by Tim Mac and Babes In Toyland. We can't help but love it.
