Hopkins componeert al decennialang muziek en beschrijft compositie als een essentieel en persoonlijk onderdeel van zijn artistieke leven. Zijn werken combineren een filmische benadering met emotionele diepte en een lyrische orkestrale taal en zijn gevormd door herinnering, verbeelding en een sterk gevoel voor storytelling. Het album is opgenomen met de Philharmonia Orchestra onder leiding van Gustavo Dudamel. Ook pianist Sergio Tiempo, cellist Gregorio Nieto, The Bach Choir en de Choristers of Winchester Cathedral werken mee.
