Anne Soldaat is back and how. The musician who has been active as a songwriter, singer and guitarist for 30 years - he was part of the pop band Daryll-Ann for more than 15 years and released four solo albums for Excelsior Recordings - sounds reborn on his new album. His new album Facts & Fears is a real "return to form” - as they sometimes say so nicely and will be released on July 9. Anne recorded the album with Pablo van de Poel from DeWolff. A true "match made in heaven". Pablo brings out the best in Anne. “Pablo is not only a great singer and guitarist, but also someone who is serious about 'sound' in the broadest sense of the word. I more or less gave him free rein when it came to recording and mixing. From an intuitive trust that it would turn out well. And that is what happened. It was a great time, a great process. Not least thanks to the guys with whom it was a joy to make music in the studio: Luka van de Poel (drums), Reyer Zwart (bass) and Henk Hulzebosch (piano).”
