This English singer/songwriter, born in Gibraltar, started his career in the band the Family Dogg and then scored big solo hits in the 70s with songs such as “It Never Rains In Southern California”, "The Free Electric Band", “I Don't Wanna Die In An Air Disaster” and "I'm A Train". Albert Hammond then focused on writing and producing hits for others, which made him even more successful. Many international stars were high in the charts of the 80s and 90s with his songs such as TINA TURNER with “I Don't Wanna Lose You”, LEO SAYER with “When I Need You” and THE HOLLIES with “The Air That I Breathe”. He is especially popular in the Low Countries and performs a lot. This led to the duet “Give A Little Love” with the famous Dutch singer Albert West in 1986, with which he scored another big top 10 hit. All these hits and many more are on this beautiful 180 gram LP.
