Alamo Race Track was once the best kept secret of our frog country. But with the record Black Cat John Brown everything changed. In 2006, the coolest indie suddenly came from the Netherlands. College rock was done. The Britpop revival had yet to begin. But Alamo's time had come. Cobb Is Screaming A Lot are part of the canon of Dutch indie. All the more reason to re-release Black Cat John Brown on beautiful white vinyl with an accompanying text by Gijsbert Kamer on the cover.
