Absynthe Minded, the moniker under which Bert Ostyn and his entourage have been writing Belpop history for years, will be diving into its twentieth year in 2021-2022 (the first demos date from 2001, the first demo with band was released in 2002). For two decades - an eternity in the current music circuit - the band deals in fresh indie pop interspersed with jazz, gypsy swing and rock. Excellent songwriting with the characteristic warm voice of Ostyn on top summarized in seven LPs, the latest of which 'Riddle Of The Sphinx' in June ' 20 saw the light of day.

The perfect moment to pour an anthology of that impressive career into a 'best of' compilation. 'Saved Along The Way - the best of Absynthe Minded' contains all the classics such as 'Envoi', 'My Heroics, Part One' and 'Papillon'. Available on CD and LP, on CD including the covers that Bert Ostyn pulled out of his sleeve for the VTM ratings cannon 'Liefde Voor Muziek', a double album with no less than twenty-two songs. The compilation also contains a new track 'Saved Along The Way', the title track of the compilation.
