‘Coral Island’ is het tiende studioalbum van de uit Liverpool afkomstige band The Coral en tevens hun eerste dubbel-album. Het is inmiddels alweer drie jaar sinds de release van ‘Move Through The Dawn’. De release verschijnt op 30 april via Republic of Music.

De band brak in 2002 door met hun debuutalbum en populaire single ‘Dreaming Of You’ die vandaag de dag meer dan 100 miljoen keer gestreamd is en in de UK de platinum status heeft behaald.

‘Coral Island’ vind de invloeden uit gitaarheld Duance Eddy, rock ‘n’ roll grondlegger Chuck Berry en de cynische, gedesillusioneerde DC Comics maker John Constantine.
