'Scaled And Icy' is the first studio album by Grammy Award-winning duo Twenty One Pilots since 'Trench' was released three years ago. Band members Tyler and Josh have been working differently than usual due to the pandemic. The 11 new tracks were mainly written and produced by Tyler in his home studio last year, while Josh worked on the drums elsewhere. The themes of the songs coincide with the emotions we have felt last year: fear, loneliness, boredom and doubt. The band broke through in 2015 with the album 'Blurryface'. They scored hits with songs such as 'Stressed Out' and 'Ride' and subsequently toured the world for two years. They took a break to record the album 'Trench', which was released in 2018. In the meantime, the band has grown to headliner size and have played at Lowlands and in the Ziggo Dome.
