Pulp kondigt een gloednieuwe plaat aan: More.!

Pulp announces a brand new album: More.!

Here it is: the first Pulp album since 2001's "We Love Life." Yes, the first Pulp album in almost 24 years! These Britpop heroes will release their new record, appropriately titled More , on June 6th.

How did this comeback come about?

The band describes it this way: "When we started touring again in 2023, we practiced a new song called "Hymn of the North" during soundchecks and eventually played it at the end of our second night at the Sheffield Arena. That seemed to open the floodgates: we came up with the rest of the songs on this album in the first half of 2024. A couple of the songs are reworkings of ideas from the last century. The music for one song was written by Richard Hawley. The music for another was written by Jason Buckle. The Eno family sing backing vocals on one track. There are string arrangements written by Richard Jones and played by the Elysian Collective."

The album was recorded by James Ford in Walthamstow, London, over three weeks, starting on November 18, 2024. This is the shortest time Pulp have ever recorded an album. It was clearly ready to happen.

The band continues: "We hope you enjoy the music. It was written and performed by four people from the North of England, aided and abetted by five other people from various locations in the British Isles. There was no AI involved."

More. will be released on June 6th, 2025 on black vinyl ,dark green vinyl and marbled blue vinyl : CHECK OUT THE VERSIONS HERE !
